Donald Trump tries on Sia's wig for new SNL promo

Donald Trump borrows a hairstyle almost as famous as his own in the newest promo for his Saturday Night Live appearance tomorrow. The Republican presidential candidate appears on screen with pop singer Sia, the upcoming episode's musical guest, and wears an especially bouffant version of her famous face-shielding hair. 'Sia, I love this hair,' he says of the half-blonde, half-black Cruella de Vil-esque wig. When she doesn't say anything else, Sia asks, 'Aren't you going to introduce the host?' 'Oh, he told me he wanted to say it himself,' McKinnon replies before Trump peeks his head in and simply says 'I'm Donald Trump.' 'He's a busy man,' McKinnon then tells Sia.

Although Trump seems more than comfortable with hair jokes for Saturday night's episode, the presidential hopeful said there were a few skits he found 'too risque'. Trump told Bill O'Reilly in a recent interview that he had Iowa on the brain when he nixed some of the SNL writers' ideas, according to The Wrap. 'The poll just came down, I'm leading in Iowa,' he told O'Reilly. 'I want to stay leading in Iowa.remy hair extensions Trump said he thinks some of the episode is going to be 'really great'. Pressure has continued to mount on NBC to cancel Trump's guest hose appearance as advocacy groups including the National Hispanic Media Coalition delivered petitions to the network calling for him to be dropped. The petitions, which had almost 500,000 signatures, were delivered Wednesday to 30 Rockefeller Plaza, home of NBC and Saturday Night Live. 'There's mounting evidence that Donald Trump's racist demagoguery is resulting in real-world violence and physical and verbal intimidation,' Mushed Zaheed, deputy political director of Credo Action, one of the participating groups, said in a statement. The comments prompted NBC to sever its Miss Universe ties with Trump while declaring he would never again appear on The Celebrity Apprentice. 'It is shameful for SNL and NBC to think that racism can be repackaged as comedy,' said Juan Escalante, digital campaigns manager for America's Voice, another group participating in the coalition. NBC declined comment on the petitions.

Earlier this week Trump appeared alongside cast member Cecily Strong for another promo. He poked fun at his habit of constantly bragging in one spot while in another he takes a dig at his opponent in the Republican primary Ben Carson. 'Ben Carson is a complete and total loser,' says Trump after Strong tells him he has just four-seconds to speak in accordance with FCC regulations. In another spot, posted on The Wrap, Strong and fellow cast member Sasheer Zamata say there are no 'real men' on SNL, at which point Trump comes out in Elvis Presley-like sunglasses. And in another, Strong and Jay Pharoah both become upset when they learn Trump has asked them both to be his running mate should he receive the nomination. Trump told Bill O'Reilly in a recent interview that he shot down some SNL skits that he found 'too risque', especially now that he's back to leading the polls in Iowa Heat: Donald Trump (above with Sasheer Zamata and Cecily Strong) is appearing in promos for his upcoming hosting stint on Saturday Night Live Trump said at first the show initially just planned to have him to do one skit, something similar to what Hillary Clinton did earlier this season. 'It started off as a skit, and I said "Alright, I’ll do it,"' Trump said during an appearance on New Day.perruques cheveux naturels 'When they took it up to Lorne Michaels - who’s an amazing guy, he’s run Saturday Night Live brilliantly for many years and he's a friend of mine – he said, "Well wait a minute, he’ll do the skit. Will he do the whole thing?" And he called me and said, "Will you host?" and I said, "It’s an honor."' This will be the second time Trump has hosted the show, with his first appearance coming in 2003. Many are also surprised Trump was asked due to his very public split with NBC earlier this year, the network that airs SNL. Trump responded to this by saying; 'You’re never at war when you get great ratings with a network.' He also took a dig at Carson after the neurosurgeon said he would not do the show if he was asked, saying; 'Ben Carson would have done it in two seconds if they asked him! 'But if they asked him, nobody would watch. So they wouldn’t ask him! Because they are about ratings and they are about current culture.'
